Everything changes INSTANTLY when you commit to choosing to see the obstacles that arise as challenges to be a better you; instead of horrible and unfair experiences whereby you are always the victim and target.
Don’t you see?
It’s all a game, baby.
God isn’t a mean kid sitting atop that ant hill trying to weight you down and keep you from your dreams.
You’re allowed to choose. Everything, every second of the day, is a choice. And there are endless possibilities.
You get to co-create this life – with GOD.
You are actually responsible for most of it.
Every thought you have, word you utter, and move you make are paint brush strokes on the masterpiece that is your life.
God did that –
Gave you so much freedom to choose that you can’t even see or understand the magnitude yet.
When you think of something and it appears: You did that. God did that.
When you’re thinking of someone and they call, text or write: You did that. God did that.
Every time you’ve been at rock bottom and asked yourself how in the hell you’re going to get out of it this time and somehow BOOM: eventing works itself out? You did that. God did that.
There are no coincidences.
You are that and much more powerful.
But, if there is a mountain in front of you, it is meant for you to embrace and climb it.
It’s up to you to change the way you see the mountain from a roadblock to a NOS button.
That’s how the game works.
You can have anything you want – anything at all.
But you’ve got to be willing to break the rules.
The rules you were taught as a child and the ones you made up along the way, tryna figure out this life thing.
The rules that run through your nervous system and veins, telling you that every hardship, obstacles, shocking, painful, horrific moment is a step back when in reality, it’s meant to push you forward.
The rules that forbid you to believe it can be easy, and believe everything you want it totally possible.
The rules that make you want to sit idly at the bottom of the mountain while knowing you’re supposed to climb it.
I know, you know, there is always a lesson waiting.
And I know, you know, what’s on the other side.
So why do you keep running from it?
Why do you keep choosing fear?
Why do you continue choosing to believe in those rules instead of making your own?
Look, I know you’ve been through some shit.
I know that mountain may look like a whole damn planet right about now, but I also know you –
You always make shit happen.
You are the one who does whatever you want, whenever you want, and things always work out for you in perfect timing.
You are a magnet to the life you want. God gave you that power.
God gave you the strength to overcome whatever tests are thrown at you because God knows that if it is in your soul to desire it, it is meant for you.
You just have to believe you can have it.
And for that to happen, you have to get over your humanly self.
Stop seeing everything as a personal attack, delay, derailment, catastrophe –
And start seeing it as what it truly is
An open door waiting for you to walk through it and come out on the other side stronger, wiser and more importantly, remembering who you are.
Have you ever been through something you thought would break you but it actually made you?
Have you looked back and even felt some type of gratitude that it happened?
Why do you think that is?
There was something you had to learn; something you had to see with your own eyes and have your consciousness expanded around.
There was something that had to help you grow.
And whatever it was, good or bad, long or instantly, you chose it.
All of it.
And whatever came with that lesson is better than you could have imagined because when you were in the thick of it you couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
But yet, here you are.
Still going. Still searching. Still doing the work. Still remembering.
Because deep inside you know that no matter how lost you feel at times or how many unwanted bad surprises life throws at you, you KNOW you will be okay.
That’s the kinda faith you need to carry with you everyday, baby.
That’s what you need to dig up, remember and meditate on every moment of the day.
Everyone faces mountains. It’s part of how you get to where you belong: the top.
Never Forget –
Life’s a game. Break all the rules.
